Gakuen Alice 45

Thoughts of Mikan: "Mikan, you must make many friends you can trust, in future, they will be of great help to you, definitely..."

A new day has started and all of elementary class B has slept in the hospital waiting for Hotaru. Mikan was one of the first to wake up. Narumi-sensei's voice still in her head: "With different thoughts in their hearts..."

Mikan: "Narumi-sensei..."

Natsume was the second to wake up.

While Hotaru was already being operated and wakes up and remembers Penguin.
Scene changes to Narumi and Yuka, with Shiki.

Narumi-sensei's thoughts: "I wish you would give me back what you stole from me that day. My feelings..."

Azumi: "No. If I return them to you, you will chase me again. Hate me if you want, if you cannot forgive what I have done. For now, for the past, too, I can only continue this using my way. You too, just do things the way you believe they should be done."

Flashback

Azumi says while tears in her eyes: "Narumi, I know this is a selfish request, but I hope you will stay in the school, protect the children. Is it to prevent to make sure that no more students like us. I hope to keep the dream sensei had, in this school, Alice forever."

Azumi gets something from her pocket and drops it on the grass. It was a small pouch-like bag. Once she drops it on the ground, she went towards Shiki, looking back one last time to Narumi, then teleported with Shiki.

Narumi: "Senpai..."

A voice whispers in his head. It was his senpai using telepathy: "I leave this to you...leave this to you, Narumi..."

He picks up the small bag and opens it. It revealed three colored Alice Stones. "Alice stones..."

Shiki: "Yuka, is this okay? The Alice Stones..."
Azumi: "...I don't know. But, this way, just by using your Alice, you can help the children in the school."

Shiki: "To let those children reveal that kind of spirit in their eyes, is that right..."

Azumi remembers Mikan, saying: "Thid is all your fault!" Azumi thinks: "And that time, the same expression in her eyes as me..."

Azumi: "Sorry, Shiki. Right now, I cannot continue to live with this confused feeling..."

Back to Mikan and the others. Three days had already passed after that incident. This is the day when Hotaru is released from the hospital.

Iinchou: "Mikan, hurry!"

Sumire: "Why are you so long, hurry up. Don't lie in bed."

Mikan: "Be...Because...i'm too excited to see Hotaru and couldn't sleep."

Anna: "If we don't go, the visiting hours at the hospital are going to be over."

Mikan: "Wait!"

Once they're outside, Mikan was holding a bouquet of flowers for Hotaru, while the others have gifts as well.

Mikan: "Wonder if Hotaru is feeling better."

Iinchou: "She must be. Because Mikan and the others tried so hard getting the antidote. Besides, today there is something happy to tell everyone. That is, 'The safe return of Iinchou's Alice!'"

All (except for Ruka and Natsume): "Iinchou, congratulations!" They became all mushy and started to hug Iinchou so tight.

All of them started to say things like "We were so worried!" and "Made us so scared!" or "Wow!"

Iinchou: "The sudden recovery really startles us all. Why?"

Tsubasa: "The other two people who lost their Alices in the middle school recovered on the same day. Don't know why..."

Everyone is still cheering and still hugging each other and Iinchou (It's like they're having a small party in the middle of the street...). Iinchou was having a hard time breathing since everyone was in a very tight hug.

Tsubasa: "We, and the school...we don't know why this happened."

Iinchou thought about his dream (it was rather reality but he doesn't know it). Narumi-sensei placed the Alice Stone near his forehead, and his Alice came back but the stone disappeared. "In my dreams...don't know when..."

Tsubasa: "However it happened, it's still good. Really great!"

Iinchou: "Yes! It's like a dream! Thank you everyone!"

Everyone was so happy for Iinchou, they were all laughing and smiling. Mikan even jumped on Iinchou's back, and Iinchou gave her a piggy-back ride.

The moment of happiness was interrupted when Kokoroyomi pointed to a car. The car doors were opened and out came Subaru-san, Narumi-sensei, and Misaki-sensei, carrying Hotaru.
Everyone looked surprised, especially Mikan, and they all went to their cheery and happy mode again.

Everyone (except for Mikan): "Hotaru! It's Hotaru!" Then they all started running towards her.
Mikan is still standing on her spot, not moving. It's like she's stuck because she's still too shocked and happy at hte same time. It's like all emotions were filling her head.
Misaki-sensei put Hotaru on the ground. She walked towards Mikan, and they stare at each other for a moment.

After a few moments of silence...

Mikan: "Hotaru... Hotaru... Ho..."

Hotaru: "How many times must you call me before you're happy?"

Another moment of silence...

Mikan was already forming tears in her eyes.

Hotaru: "I already know everything..." She was talking about what they did, in the 'Medusa's Lair', and about Penguin.

Mikan stared at Hotaru for a moment and looked down.

Mikan: "Hotaru...your shoulder doesn't hurt anymore?"

Hotaru gives her one of her rare smiles. "I'm doing fine."

Mikan: "Your body...doesn't hurt anymore?"

Hotaru: "Yes."

Mikan: "Hotaru..." She is still crying...must be tears of joy...

Hotaru wiped her tears away. "Baka, what are you worrying about? Crybaby."

Suddenly, Mikan hugged Hotaru tight and started crying again. "Hotaru..."

Iinchou: "Mikan..."

Mikan, still hugging Hotaru, and still crying. "Hotaru..."

Hotaru hugged her, too, smiling. All of them were so happy, and smiling (except for Natsume).

Scene changes to Persona and one of the three principals.

Principal: "Hyuuga Natsume, then Narumi-sensei too."

Persona: "We cannot let any teacher run amok like this. Even if there is no difference on the surface. With regards to Hyuuga Natsume, I have not been careful with my supervision."
Principal: "Hyuuga Natsume just needs to be threatened and cowed into obedience. The problem now is, from today on, what is to be done with Narumi-sensei...?"

Back to the main characters.

Tsubasa to Natsume and Ruka: "Aren't you going over? The 'Embrace Of Friends'." He's talking about the 'Embrace Of Friends', if Natsume and Ruka, who clearly wasn't with the 'embrace', are going over.

Natsume turns and looks away, clearly not happy.

Tsubasa: "Ah, the reaction I expected. Hehehe."

Natsume got really really annoyed and starts to walk off.

Tsubasa: "Going back already?! What did you come for? Natsume..."

Natsume: "Tsubasa..." He throws something at him, but Tsubasa-senpai caught it.
Tsubasa looks at it and finds that it was Tono-senpai's Alice Stone Necklace. "Eh... This..."

Natsume: "On loan."

Flashback. That time when they just got back from their 'adventure', and Subaru-san was healing them.

Subaru: "Your shoulder...if you only care about others, you'll never heal."
Tsubasa: "Sorry, senpai, i'm fine. Please heal Natsume's injuries instead."
End of flashback.

Natsume: "Now we don't owe each other anything. I don't want you to worry about me."

Tsubasa thinks: "Is this for that time... Healing Alice Stone...?"

He then cracks up and laughs. "Shouldn't it be 'Tsubasa-senpai'?"

Natsume ignores him and walks away, followed by Ruka-pyon.

Mikan notices them going. "Natsume? Where are you going?"
