Natsume pretends to have his hand still stuck to Mikan's as Ruka and Yo-chan are stuck back to back with Hotaru. Mikan wonders why Natsume is pretending and tries to tell, but Natsume squeezes her arm tight and with killing eyes tells her not to say a word. Everyone else believe that Natsume-Mikan, Hotaru-Ruka-Yo-chan are stuck together. Tsubasa who is responsible for the situation wonders if Mikan and Hotaru will be able to attend the Hanazonokai the next day. Narumi-sensei who came back because he had a bad feeling something was happening, says straightforward that he thinks they probably won’t. Especially since boys are not allowed to any hanazonokai activities. Tsubasa and Narumi-sensei try to separate Ruka and Hotaru but it's impossible. The mochi mochi ko's effect is just too strong. Narumi-sensei points out that they will have to skip taking baths, and will have to use tricks not to peep at each other when they change but the problem is: how to go to the toilet...well with this said, Mikan just has to go....and ends up stuck with the door open and natsume holding her hand while she on the toilet. Mikan and Natsume keep fighting over the situation. Hotaru, on the other hand, just had the right stuff for 3 persons for them only. No toilet pills and cleans up spray. Narumi sensei says he'll inform the junior-high's principal of the situation. Ruka asks nicely to Mikan if she's ok, depressed Mikan thinks to herself how lucky Hotaru is to be stuck with Ruka, that she's rather be stuck to him than Natsume. Kokoroyomi who read her thoughts asks her out loud, and then it's not Natsume but Ruka you like. Mikan without thinking answers yes. Then realizes what she said and all embarrassed says that’s not what she meant. Persona informs the junior-high principal of the situation of Mikan ect. Which he received by letter from Narumi.

Mikan ends up sleeping in Natsume's big room, Ruka sleeps with Hotaru. Everyone comes to Natsume's door and starts peeking. Tsubasa comes in and kicks everybody out. Natsume is upset that Mikan said she preferred Ruka and is in bad humor. In the meanwhile, in bed, Hotaru asks Ruka if he also thinks that Natsume is faking, and if he knows the reason...or is it that he wants to know why Natsume is doing so, that’s why he's not saying anything.. Back to the two, while they’re together in the same room, Mikan asks why he's pretending, but Natsume refuses to answer.

Mikan: ’’Stop holding my hand’’ Mikan was about to throw a happy face ball at him. Natsume: ’’Sorry because I'm not....Ruka.’’ Mikan stares at him, confused and shocked. Natsume stares at the ceilling. Natsume: ”There is no need to hold hands anymore” Mikan: ’’Hey, are you still awake?’’ Natsume: ’’I'm sleeping dummy.’’ Mikan: ‘’The event is going to start tomorow.’’ Natsume: ’’Didn't I say I was sleeping.’’

Natsume who fell asleep has a nightmare. Mikan wakes him up....but Natsume looking in pain pulls Mikan down from the bed and hugs her. Mikan: ‘’Wait! Let me go..’’

Mikan: ‘’Wait! Let me go..’’ Natsume: ”please quiet for now. After tomorrow ends, I’ll give you to Ruka.” Mikan: ”Hey! Hey! (somehow she starts thinking and then falls asleep...).

In the morning, Tsubasa came to Natsume’s room then wakes them up. Mikan sees herself kissing his forehead and still hugging him. The two start arguing. Natsume: “I really did that? I don't remember it.” While they are arguing...a parcel from the junior high arrives, it's kimonos for Mikan and Hotaru and a letter saying that they can bring Ruka and Natsume to the Hanazonokai's festivity as an exception, But under one condition: as girls!
